Blood Assurance launches Harley Davidson giveaway

Blood Assurance, Comcast and KZ-106 are partnering to give away a 2009 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster Low motorcycle.

The promotion to generate donated blood for medical emergencies, began Monday, and visitors can register for the giveaway at any area Blood Assurance or blood drive through July 10.

Listeners also can tune to KZ-106 for a chance to qualify for the prize. The winner will be drawn at the Thunder Creek Harley Davidson Sundown concert on July 10.

Those interested in donating blood must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors will receive a complimentary snack and special-edition Harley Davidson T-shirt.
