Video: Billy Long sentenced to 14 years

Former Hamilton County Sheriff Billy Long was sentenced Nov. 19 to 14 years in prison on federal extortion, money laundering, drug and gun charges. Assistant U.S. Attorney Gary Humble said the illegal activity was in the former sheriff's "nature." Mr. Long’s attorney, Jerry Summers, said an undercover informant, the Rev. C. Eugene Overstreet, steered Mr. Long into criminal activity.
