University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announces 2008-09 men’s basketball scheduled
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga basketball team will begin its season Nov. 15 at Tennessee before playing at Missouri on Nov. 17, and then facing NCAA runner-up Memphis in the first of three games during the O’Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tipoff Nov. 20-23. The Mocs’ home-opener will be against Tennessee Temple on Nov. 29. The first Southern Conference game will be Dec. 13 at Davidson. The annual Dr Pepper Classic has an odd format with Niagra playing Murray State, and UTC playing Tennessee Wesleyan on Dec. 29. The next night, UTC will play Niagra and Tennessee Wesleyan will face Lee University. The Mocs will play 20 conference games before the SoCon tournament March 6-9 in McKenzie Arena.
